Church Activity?
|
North American culture has designated church as a part of the private and individual sector. Church is a "free time" activity. It functions as a purveyor of programs that "meet the needs" of its members. Its role in the life of its members is always controlled by their opting to participate. In this context it is difficult to establish Biblical formation and missional discipleship as a binding commitment and recognized priority. Darrell L. Guder |
